Native Floridian D. Hackett has been fascinated by nature all of her life. In 1979 she started bird watching and quickly became a member of the Audubon Society. Her love of animals and nature lead her to the National Wildlife Federation and she has turned her 10 acre property into a Certified Wildlife Habitat, Gopher Tortoise Habitat and Tree Farm.
